family time is fun

I let the kids take photos with my camera from time to time. They love directing the other family members into the poses they want. Adrienne took this lovely photo of us. (The things we do for our kids!)

While E & A were playing, she accidentally knocked him over & he hit the floor, so...Eli has a new smile. He lost two teeth (that were already loose) & the big one in front is growing in to fill the space. I don't know where the other tooth is going to fit!

A close-up in case you wanted to see more. :)

We went bowling as a family when the kids had a half day at school. The kids used bumpers but did not use the rolling ramp to help them this time. I thought they did pretty good.

Such form!

Adrienne was quite proud of her score (79).

Tony of course beat us all, but not by much!!

Chinese New Year @ The Discovery Center

The kids made quilt squares & we finally got to see them up in the museum.
The whole quilt.

Eli's is 3rd from the right in the 2nd row from the bottom.

Adrienne's is 3rd from the left in the 2nd row from the bottom.

It's a BIG girl bike!

Eli in the dragon.

The dragon performers let E & A try to do the dance in a scaled-down, kid sized dragon.

They thought the kids did a great job dancing. I thought they did too! It was hard work to coordinate their movements together.

Some happenings in February

My beautiful happy kids!

Eli & his long arms that will not stop growing!

Adrienne was showing us her graceful side.

We went to Fine Arts Night at the school. We got to see artwork, listen to the PTO meeting, and see some demonstrations from the students.
Here is Eli doing sit-ups at one of the activity stations as they demonstrated what they do in PE at school. Tony said it was like what he had to do at the Academy for the Sheriff's Office. Hardcore!

Eli & his class, dressed in turquoise, showing us what they have learned in music class.

This is some of Eli's fine art that he drew on our sidewalk. The blue chalk is one continuous line. My very own modern artist!
Tony playing for the first time in the new sanctuary at church. The kids & I like to go & hear him play. They think their Daddy is so cool!
A view of the new stage.

A day at the indoor water park

When it was freezing outside we went to the indoor water park here in town. It was so warm in there it was like a sauna. For $2/child we had happy kids & parents!

Adrienne messing with the water flow.

Eli on the big slide.

Happy Girl.

Splash landing!
