Eli went fishing for a school field trip & I got to go along!
We used corn as bait on the hooks instead of worms. A lot less messy!

He was quite proud of it, but thought it was a bit slimy.
We had baked trout for dinner & it was yummy. The whole family enjoyed it.
This is Eli's first grade class with his teacher Mrs. Fitzgerald.

Aurelia says "Eli and Adrienne, I need you to come back here and play with me. I miss you!" She also says about the fish: "That's a big fish! I like it! I hope I get to fish when I'm in school too!"
