Adrienne & her flowers

Adrienne picked out the seeds, planted the seeds & watered her plants until they flowered for her. She was so proud of her pretty sunflowers.

Last day before school

We spent our last day before school at the pool swimming.

Adrienne is fascinated with bats & discovered she could make a shadow in the shape of a bat.

Eli's skinny bat. :)

Then we went to Art in the Park to do some crafting. The kids made some kaleidoscopes.

We also painted fish to hang as windsocks. (They are now decorating our staircase where it is not very windy.)

Walt Disney World Day 7 - Epcot

The kids were freaked out to ride this one. Mission Space was new to us. Once we rode it though it was fun. Not at all what I was expecting.

The kids in France with the Eiffel Tower. Oooh la la!

The kids got a Kim Possible special mission phone in Italy & we went on several top secret missions in a couple of different countries.

It was entertaining & it kept us moving. You can't see it, but on the phone is a photo of the kids & I dressed in Viking outfits that they beamed to our phone in Norway.

In Germany, we made the clock tower play music & got to watch the bad guy get beat over the head with a mallet. The singing beer steins were pretty priceless too. :)

We got to have Lunner (lunch/dinner) with the princesses.
Eli & Adrienne with Belle.

Adrienne with Aurora.

The kids with Cinderella.

Ariel sans fins.

Snow White was quite the flirt with Eli. She asked if he would come rescue her someday if she were in trouble. She also wanted to know where Adrienne's castle was...in the clouds or here on the ground. The kids had fun speaking like her the rest of the day.

This woman is making candy sculptures in Japan. We watched her show three times before the kids were picked. They had decided before hand that they would like a red dragon, and that's what they asked for when she finally called on them.

As she crafted the different animals she would repeat over & over, "Shiny, shiny, canella, sweet, in only two minutes I make ...insert name of animal here....shiny, shiny". Needless to say the kids were very pleased with their dragon.

The rain came down while we were in Japan, but there was a beautiful rainbow after.

Across the lagoon, looking at the big ball at night after the light show & fireworks.

The Epcot ball. Shiny!

Walt Disney World Day 6 - Magic Kingdom

I always take a photo of our parking spot. I'm sure some people thought I was strange, but hey, I wasn't the one wandering around the parking lot with my clicker trying to hear my car alarm go off.

Adrienne & Daddy starting the day at the Magic Kingdom.

Eli & I on Peter Pan.

Adrienne & Daddy. She liked it so much we had to go 2 times. It's a good thing the lines were not that long yet!

Flying on a magic carpet. The only time you will probably ever say..."I hope I get spit on by that camel" !

The big kids in the back seat.

Not the best photo, but Eli has his eyes closed & is looking terrified . We're in the front row.

Eli & I as we arrived at the end of Splash Mountain. Smiling now!

He liked it so much he went with Tony & tried to keep his eyes open during the big drop. It's a hard thing to do! (They're in the 3rd row.)

Ahhh, the joys of a water fountain.

"If only I could keep this veil out of my way." Adrienne enjoyed wearing her princess ears but the veil would occasionally get caught on something. It was much cooler to flip it up on top of her head.

Eli's driving was a little bouncy from side to side.

Adrienne did pretty well actually, when she could see over the wheel.

It started to rain & thunder & lightening so we decided to call it a day. The kids wanted to "surf" on the monorail, so we rode that instead of the ferry.

We found a neat pizza place that lets the kids make their own pizza, then they bake them & bring them back to the kids. They even provided aprons to keep their clothes clean. The kids loved it!
